Our Wonderful Easter

*Happy Easter*

Danny took off work on Friday so we left to go down to Darke County around noon. We dropped Lawrence, Izzy, and all of our things off at my mom and Joe's house before heading to Sarah and Tuco's house. Sarah and I got to visit and she also cut my hair for me. Danny and Tuco got to play Magic and Pirates. Meem and Papa Joe enjoyed spending time with Lawrence and we enjoyed an evening "out". It was a nice beginning to a great weekend.*Watching Food Network w/Meem*

On Saturday April 11th we spent the day at my mom's house for Easter. My grandparents came over for dinner and spent time with Lawrence. We had a leg of Lamb, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, jell-o eggs, and homemade cheesecake for dessert... yummy!! Izzy and Lawrence both got Easter baskets!! Spoiled kids!!

Our Easter Sunday was spent with Danny's family. We got up around 6AM to head to the Sunrise Services at Cedar Grove Church, which started at 8AM. It was Lawrence's first trip to church and he did great (he slept through the whole service). After services we went to the breakfast offered at the church. It was a nice beginning to our day. Danny got to visit with members of the church he hadn't seen in a few years and everyone got to meet Lawrence.

After church we headed over to Danny's mom's house for lunch. Lawrence got to meet his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Worch and also his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Royer. He played with his cousins Gaige and Tyler too. We had a fun time doing a scavenger hunt that Nana (Danny's mom) does (this was the second year). She gives each family 4 clues to find the prize. We all race against each other to be the ultimate winner. It's a really cool idea and I can't wait until Lawrence is old enough to participate. Then it was time for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Tyler made his way all around the farm hunting Easter eggs and gifts. At one point he said, "Okay, this is the last one. I'm done." But he really wasn't. There were tons of eggs to be had!!*Tyler hunting Eggs*

All in all, this was the best Easter so far. I cannot wait for next year when Lawrence and Gaige will be walking and "hunting" eggs right along with Tyler. How fun!!
