Sorry to disappoint...

I am so sorry for the lag in blog postings. We learned a few weeks ago we are expecting baby #2 in the Spring and as with baby #1 I have been horribly sick. I have good days and bad days, but mostly bad days. I have a constant queasy stomach and occasionally that results in throwing up. With our first baby this ended at about 17 weeks. Right now I'm at the 10 week point, so a few more weeks to go. I'll try to keep up with blogging, but being sick and taking care of a 9-month-old takes its toll. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you continue to love couponing and freebies as much as I do!!

Sick Day, Maybe Week

I'm calling in sick to blogging this week.
I have an awful cold and so does my son, so I don't feel like finding "deals" this week. So sorry. Check back next week when I will hopefully feel better.

My appologies

So sorry for not posting much this week. I've been staying at my mom's house for the week and she has really S....L.....O.....W internet. Follow me next week when I get back into the swing of things midweek. Once again my apologies for being a slacker this week!! =)

It has been nice to take a "break" from couponing and spend time with my family. Can't wait to start up the deals next week though. I fear I have a lot of catching up to do. Also, I've been garaging while I've been down here. I found some pretty good deals. Tons of clothes for Law, an outside baby swing (now Danny will have to build a swing set for sure..ha!), and a walker.

I also went to the B&D Grocery outlet in Richmond, IN while I've been here. If you live in that area you should check it out! It has expired grocery goods on the cheap, $0.10 for salad dressings, below $1.00 for cereal, and 12 Huggies Little Swimmer Swim Pants for $2.00!!!! I wish there was one close to Toledo!!!!!

Just to add that Meijer is having a great 10 for $10 get the 11th for free down here and I def. went and snagged some great deals...even though I have to haul it all back up to Toledo.

Also, I went to an Amish plant sale auction. I didn't buy anything, but it was an interesting experience. One little Amish girl played with Law the whole time. Her name was Emma and she was the cutest 5 year old little girl ever. I think Lawrence was flirting with her. =)

Away

I am going to be at my mom's house next week, 6/5-6/14, so there there will be limited blogging, if any on her slow internet connection. Once I get back I will try to catch up on all of my couponing. I am looking foward to a nice break and Law will get to spend time with our extended family.

The garden is up and the plants are growing

*The garden is up. We planted three rows of corn, 1/2 row of peas, a row of green beans, radishes, & spinach. Yet to plant is tomatos, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, & banana peppers.*
Hopefully we are able to plant our tomato and pepper plants this weekend as well as annual flowers. Sunday is supposed to be nice, right? =\

*The Iris' have bloomed.*

*The chives and dill are growing.*

*The lettuce garden is coming up.*

*The cilantro is up in my herbal garden*
